Pathways Improvement Scope
Glendale USD in collaboration with Glendale CC, will provide a Cloud Computing/Computer Science Academy Program for high school students (an early college model) that will include stackable credentials utilizing Amazon Web Services curriculum and a Computer Science Certificate.
Goals & Priorities
Glendale Unified School District (GUSD) has the support from Glendale Community College (GCC) to focus on the Cloud Computing and Computer Science certificate program. This program would be implemented at GUSD for the 2020-2021 school year. Specifically, the focus will be on a cloud computing career pathway program with stackable industry certifications, as part of the statewide California Cloud Workforce initiative.
