The Noncredit Career Pathways project is excited to announce their next regional professional development event. The next free workshop series will help faculty enhance their Distance Ed instruction by Creating Dynamic Lectures.
This will be a two-part online workshop series that will benefit both noncredit and credit instructors. Please share with anyone on your campus that would be interested in learning more about brain-based lesson planning, creating interactive zoom instruction and activities, and equity-centered online teaching. The workshops will be facilitated by Emily Versace, counselor at Mt. SAC. Emily is a community college counselor, a professor, and a professional development expert. She specializes in training faculty and counselors in effective teaching strategies, universal design for learning, and strategies to better serve students equitably. She is passionate and knowledgeable about creating class environments that engage and support our diverse student populations.
Part A will take place on Friday, October 21 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Part B will take place on Friday, October 28 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
It is strongly recommended that participants attend both Part A and Part B. Seats are limited to the first 30 people who register, so please only register if you definitely can attend!
