The LA Regional Cleantech Career Academy (CT Academy) is a 12-week academy in partnership with nearly 50+ employers serving 100 students each year from low-income backgrounds. The Cleantech Academy expands STEAM pathways to high-mobility careers for prioritized populations, while continuing to align programs with current workforce demands to shift to an equitable renewable energy economy.
Through education, job-readiness programming, and paid work-based learning (WBL), future clean energy leaders (youth ages 18-24) develop the real-world skills employers need and gain access to high-growth, high-wage jobs. The Academy’s goal is to prepare diverse talent from across Greater Los Angeles to lead our clean energy future
