During the webinar, you will learn about the specific changes to the Chancellor’s Office Nursing Faculty Minimum Qualifications and understand how these changes support the diversification of our community college nursing faculty, in alignment with Vision 2030 goals.
Access New Funding Opportunities
Join Dr. Tammy Vant Hul and Dr. Karen Bradley, collaborators from the Inland Empire, as they introduce the HRSA-funded Nurse Faculty Loan Forgiveness Program. This program offers 85% tuition forgiveness for an MSN or DNP education from an online program at CBU, in return for four years of full-time employment as a nurse educator. Details for enrolling in this program will also be provided, outlining a pathway for the intentional development of your nursing faculty from BSN to MSN to DPN.

Loretta Melby, Executive Officer of the California Board of Registered Nurses, will discuss the impact of these changes on your programs. California Community College (CCC) nursing program directors will also share how these changes will be incorporated into their program structure.
