UNITE-LA and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, in collaboration with the City of Los Angeles Economic & Workforce Development Department and the Los Angeles Regional Consortium (LARC), have partnered to provide paid health care learning experiences for students interested in learning more about the health care industry.
Program Benefits:
– 160+ hours of paid work experience Meet health care professionals Network with health care leaders CPR certification
– Stop the Bleed certification
– Mentorship opportunities
– Develop your resume
– Earn a certificate of internship completion
Program Requirements:
– Ages 18+
– Current community college student Provide authorization to work in the U.S. (during onboarding)
– A physical and drug test will be required (test will be conducted at Cedars-Sinai during onboarding)
– Proof of COVID vaccine and booster
– Must be available for new hire onboarding appointment
– Must be available June 17 to Aug. 30, 2024 (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)
– Must attend educational workshops on site and/or via Zoom
