Dean of Academic Affairs
Priscilla Lopez' career in higher education expands over two decades. She is currently the Dean of Academic Affairs at Los Angeles Harbor College. She has been with the college for 10 years. She has held various positions during her tenure such as Dean of Adult and Community Education and Associate Dean of Economic and Workforce Development. -
Mario Hernandez
Digital Marketing Apprenticeship Counselor/Coordinator
Mario is a proud alumnus of Los Angeles Harbor College, where his journey in higher education began. In his role as a community college counselor, he is dedicated to fostering an inclusive, student-centered environment that honors the unique strengths and lived experiences of students from diverse and intersectional backgrounds. Mario’s approach is rooted in equity and empowerment, guiding students to recognize their own potential to achieve their academic, professional, and personal aspirations. Mario holds a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of California, Riverside, and a Master’s in Educational Counseling from the University of Southern California. Currently, Mario is pursuing a Doctorate in Education, specializing in Community College Leadership, at California State University, Fullerton.
