The purpose of this project is to establish a regional framework around WBL; a common framework to define/support agreed-upon procedures within the LA-19 colleges, ensuring fair outcomes for students engaged in WBL. Designed to ensure that a regional framework will be built and that colleges will be supported with tools and data to align with the Chancellor’s office. Once a framework is adopted by the LARC, participants will work toward developing a resources “toolkit” for faculty, for each program area or industry sector. Collecting accurate data is the initial step towards ensuring equitable WBL and is crucial for monitoring progress in expanding WBL. Proposes a regional investment providing colleges with funding to support a WBL role to establish WBL functions and processes, to increase WBL awareness and opportunities for students, and to institutionalize WBL.
