Pathways Improvement Scope
Develop a districtwide college and career readiness system connecting middle school exploration to high school CTE and postsecondary opportunities. Rather than creating a single new pathway, the project works across existing sectors to strengthen career exploration, pathway transitions, articulation and dual enrollment, advising, work-based learning, and student supports.
Goals & Priorities
Increase middle school participation in CTE exploration, improve transitions into and persistence within high school pathways, expand early college credit with Cerritos College, update articulation agreements, and strengthen college and career advising. Priorities include industry exposure, employability skills, WBL, family engagement, equitable access for underrepresented students, and better tracking of students eligible for articulated or dual enrollment credit.
