Pathways Improvement Scope
Expand and scale existing CTE pathways by creating an equitable K–14 continuum that begins with middle school career exploration, connects students to aligned high school CTE pathways, and strengthens articulation, dual enrollment, work-based learning, and postsecondary connections with Cerritos College and LBCC.
Goals & Priorities
Expand equitable access to middle school CTE exploration; strengthen K–14 pathway alignment with Cerritos College and Long Beach Community College; increase CTE enrollment, completion, dual enrollment, articulation, and work-based learning; strengthen credentialed instructional capacity and CTE facilities; and reduce participation and completion gaps for disproportionately impacted students in priority sectors including Advanced Manufacturing; Agriculture, Water & Environmental Technologies; Energy, Construction & Utilities; Health; ICT/Digital Media; and Life Sciences/Biotech
