Pathways Improvement Scope
Magnolia Science Academy seeks to build a ICT/DM pathway with a lens on equity in brining underrepresented student into technology course. The program will focus on training students, including those who are in the underrepresented population, with programming skills during the pathway so that they will be more equipped and qualified for those emerging areas. The plan includes enhancing the Software and Systems Development Pathway.
Goals & Priorities
Magnolia will increase CTE standards alignment and access to CTE Programs. Professional develop will be provided for two CTE Teachers and a staff member or instructor will take on the CTE Coordinator role. Targeted outreach and marketing will focus on access for all student groups to ensure equity. Funds will be used to provide digital media lab equipment, professional development, career exploration and new curriculum.
