Pathways Improvement Scope

LUSD will partner with the Culinary Arts Department at LBCC to revise the course outlines and learning objectives for the three Culinary Arts pathway courses and incorporate two industry-recognized certifications into the pathway course

Goals & Priorities

Expected outcomes include redesigned course outlines and curricula; articulation agreements between LUSD and LBCC for the dual enrollment courses, and at least 300 hours of professional development for the LUSD instructor. Once the courses are redesigned and approved, 25 to 35 LUSD students per year will earn up to 6 college credits by completing one of these dual enrollment courses.
