Pathways Improvement Scope

The FC will build upon and expand a strong foundation at the middle school level so students will successfully transition to high school and make more informed choices regarding course selection, career interests, and post secondary options. FC will expand its pathway offerings in Engineering, Digital/Media Arts, Transportation, Health, and Business to align initiatives and goals of the LARC and LABRPU. Furthermore, in building a strong collaborative relationship with the CCs, FC students will transition to CCs with background interest and context within the chosen pathway and/or enrollment in the CC to allow for priority access to courses and transitionary resources.

Goals & Priorities

Engage underrepresented student populations with intentional counseling and support strategies that provide ongoing monitoring and assistance in course selection within the CTE pathways to increase access to high wage, high demand careers.
