Pathways Improvement Scope
This project seeks to have career pathway workshops focused on employment and entrepreneurial and exploration opportunities in our five target pathways. Students will hear from BIPOC industry experts, and experience hands on workshop series that expose them to new and exciting careers.
Goals & Priorities
Establish two new pathways and deepen three existing pathways: Health Science and Medical Technology (Science of Nutrition), Educational, Child Development, and Family Service (tutoring, and the grade assistant Expanded/Deepened Pathways Business Entrepreneurship – International/global business with multi-lingual focus (Spanish for Business and Entrepreneurship) College and Career Exploration Tours, events, and other visits to local colleges to increase exposure to and awareness of local Community, Cal State, and UC schools. Mock college application, financial aid application, registration, and campus activity fairs to prepare students for college going decision-making.
