Pathways Improvement Scope

Engage students in CTE as early as 6th grade, through CTE-themed summer bridge programming, with the goal to increase the number of students engaged in CTE to and through high school, and create extension opportunities for students to take CTE-aligned community college courses during summer to support their transition through high school to college.

Goals & Priorities

Providing peer mentorship during summer bridge increases student engagement in CTE-Linked Learning courses. | Target student populations, who, at the high school level, may not have room in their schedule for CTE coursework. | Increase cross sector work: expand opportunities for embedding entrepreneurship and innovation across sectors from 22 to 40 pathways, through pre-CTE project-based learning experiences.
