Pathways Improvement Scope
CalAPS will use funds to support and expand current CTE complete courses in; Advanced Manufacturing/Technology; Health Care; Information & Communications Technology/Digital Media; Retail, Hospitality & Tourism; and Small Business.
Goals & Priorities
Support additional hours for CTE staff, to collaborate with postsecondary partners, to establish dual/articulation agreements, participate in professional development, and engage in industry trainings. | Funds will be used to develop referral, access and transition strategies for all students with special attention provided to the underserved, non-traditional pathway students.| Ensure materials and equipment are in alignment with CA CTE Model Curriculum Standards along with industry expectations. | Cover all student costs for industry certification, work-based learning and CTSO membership/participation for students. | Provide staff with ongoing professional development to maintain industry relevance.
