Pathways Improvement Scope
The project seeks to address the larger regional workforce preparation efforts and the emerging skills gap. This requires funds to create, support and scale high quality CTE programs sequenced and aligned to postsecondary education and industry expectations.
Goals & Priorities
The project plans to improve their pathways by the following: Increase CTE enrollment/completions|Collaborate with department heads|Add new pathways and increase CTE courses/sections, while pursuing articulation agreements/college credit with postsecondary institutions for the new courses/pathways|Scale work- based learning and expand business/industry partnerships|Recruit and hire new qualified CTE teachers, and provide training/externships to CTE staff.
