As identified in the LA Regional Strong Workforce Plan, this project aims to focus on providing Schurr High School Engineering and Design and Global Business and Logistics Pathways students with the opportunity to learn about Drone Technology, which is an emerging profession
Goals & Priorities
This project plans to align drone technology curriculum and courses to ELA Engineering and Logistics Courses|Assess and Skills Gaps in existing courses and pathways to ensure equity and access to underrepresented student groups|Administer Choices 360 career Exploration resource|Field trips to ELAC, workshops and guest speakers|Increase the number of dual enrollment students|Increase pathways leading to certification|Industry tours related to drone technology|Collaborate with businesses to establish internship opportunities.
