Pathways Improvement Scope
Lynwood USD seeks to improve access to dual enrollment credit in computer science, engineering & engineering technologies, and manufacturing programs. Provide effective instruction for underserved students in STEM-focused CTE programs. Establish a productive advisory through our foundation, business, postsecondary and community partners.
Goals & Priorities
The goals of this project are the following: Increase access to dual enrollment coursework towards completing certificates of achievement, associate degrees, or transfer credit|Purchase necessary instructional materials and equipment that will provide effective instruction for underserved students in these STEM-focused CTE programs|Support funding for liaison from Cerritos CC to provide specific guidance on career pathway programs and increase student participation in dual enrollment, and postsecondary certifications.
