Birmingham Community Charter High plans to engage students in high tech careers|provide innovative support and instruction to raise content knowledge and mastery in biological sciences, math and computing, particularly coding|Close achievement gaps in math and science|Create and develop a new Biotechnology Pathway|Improve the existing Information & Communication Technologies: Software & Systems Development Pathway.

Goals & Priorities

The project goals include: Engaging students with non-traditional and evidence-based project-based learning instructional methods and math proficiency soware to move them toward mastery of math foundations|Enhancing PD|Providing career exploration and WBL in bioscience, biotechnology and IT|Engaging students with a summer boot camp|Establishing a Biotechnology articulated course sequence
