Pathways Improvement Scope

Alhambra USD found that despite the availability of CTE pathways and articulation opportunities, less than 40% of high schools students are enrolled in CTE classes each year; English Learners and Students with Disabilities subgroups are not highly represented. The project plans to increase the number of Pathway completers.

Goals & Priorities

Alhambra USD plans to purchase Access to the Xello career exploration program|Hire three half time career advisors to increase awareness of career pathways and provide access to college dual enrollment and work based learning opportunities| Purchase materials and supplies for the Child Development and Allied Health pathways Dual Enrollment classes at ELAC|The CTE Advisors will meet individually/small groups with students in targeted subgroups (ELs and Student with Disabilities) to help students further understand the results of the survey and determine their needs.
