Pathways Improvement Scope
ESGVROP currently maintains 2 overarching articulation agreements with Mt. Sac that allow high school students a pathway to several careers in Arts Media and Entertainment. These existing articulation agreements give high school students a head start on pursuing a variety of stackable certifications at the post secondary level. This project will develop additional articulation agreements in both the technical and performing aspects of Arts Media and Entertainment beyond the current articulation agreements. Additionally, the project will partner with the Painters Apprenticeship Program to provide curriculum assistance to stagecraft and graphic arts, field trips and pre-apprentice work based learning.
Goals & Priorities
In order to expand CTE Pathways and provide opportunities for students, a focus will be placed on the following areas: Career Exploration and Guidance, Dual Enrollment and/or College Credit, Industry Recognized Credential or Certificate, Transition Services (Secondary to Post Secondary), and Work-based Learning opportunities.
