LACC’s Cinema 60 short film collaboration project from Spring 2022, VLA, has been awarded ‘Best TV Series’ and ‘Best Director’ from the Los Angeles Film Awards! Huge congratulations to writer/director Rita Pereyra (now at USC) and all of you for making it possible.
We’re going to screen the film at LACC next Wednesday, 9/27, at 7:30pm as part of a student mixer between Cinema and Theater students to encourage more collaboration on student films. The mixer starts at 6:30pm in our main lobby, and we will screen the film at 7:30pm, followed by a panel discussion with Rita and the principal actors.
