Interested in joining UNITE-LA’s Step into Tech Fall 2026 cohort?
In partnership with the Cisco Networking Academy, UNITE-LA presents Step into Tech, a PAID OPPORTUNITY providing pathways for justice involved/impacted individuals 18-28 into careers in tech.
Eligibility Requirements:
– You must identify with being justice involved or justice impacted.
– You must be 18-28 years old.
– You must reside in Los Angeles County.
Step into Tech is a 2-part program, part one is a 6-week program that meets via Zoom on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00am – 12:00pm. Part 1 launches September 15-October 22 10am-12pm. Part 2 (Optional) October 23-January 29th.
Step into Tech includes:
– Participants Receive Hands-On Introductory Training in Networking, Cyber Security, Data Science, IT Support, and Intro to Modern AI.
– An Opportunity to Earn an Industry-Recognized Certifications in a Tech Pathway.
