The Snap Academies are summer educational training programs for community college students (or recent transfers) hosted by Snap Inc., the makers of Snapchat. This summer, UNITE-LA is partnering with Snap Inc. to recruit students to participate in each of the four hands-on, nine-week academies, where Scholars will further develop their Design, Engineering, Marketing, Communications or Augmented Reality skills. Scholars will participate in custom, creative and technical workshops, fireside chats and mentorship with Snap Inc. team members.
