My Pathway to Health is a paid work-based learning opportunity designed to connect opportunity young adults to careers in allied health. This three-part program is offered annually, launching in the summer, and spans 1-12 months depending on the chosen career pathway.
Participants explore various careers and educational opportunities, engage in hands-on training, and earn a Basic Life Support certification, along with a certification in their chosen pathway. Current pathways include phlebotomy, community health worker, certified nursing assistant, medical assistant, EMT, or EKG technician (subject to change)
Throughout the program, participants also focus on professional and personal development, receiving 1:1 mentoring, wraparound services, peer-to-peer support, and employment assistance. Participants receive stipends for their participation.
