The LA Regional Cleantech Career Academy is offering PAID learning and mentorship with local business leaders to help you jumpstart a career in one of Los Angeles’ fastest-growing industries. Step off the sidelines and claim your role in building a clean, more sustainable world!
The Cleantech Academy includes 12 weeks of paid, work-based learning and features professional industry speakers, in-person site visits and group projects with other students. Most sessions will take place virtually on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 6:30 p.m.
Requirements to Apply
CURRENT resident of L.A. County
– Must be 18 to 24 years old
– Interest in learning about the cleantech economy (no prior industry/work experience is required)
– Commitment to 12 weeks of required, on-camera, virtual sessions, 2x a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4-6:30 p.m.)
– Availability to attend MANDATORY, in-person sessions, including the kick-off event, graduation ceremony and at least three scheduled employer site visits in the L.A. area
– Access to an internet-enabled device and Wi-Fi; on-camera presence is required
– Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and meet program income requirements
