CTE Professional Learning Series for Educators and Administrators

This first session (of four) CTE Professional Learning Series begins the journey into a comprehensive professional development designed to equip *NEW* CTE teachers with the necessary skills, knowledge, and strategies to excel in your role as a facilitator of practical, college and career-focused education. This training recognizes the unique challenges and opportunities you encounter and provides tailored support to ensure your success in preparing students for diverse and dynamic careers. 

During each session you will prepare a plan of action based on the Elements of a High Quality CTE Program, the CTE Model Curriculum Standards, and the California State Plan for CTE. Following each session, you will apply those actions to increase attendance, reduce academic and behavioral challenges, and expand the scope of their program through industry partnerships for job and internship opportunities in support of equitable learning opportunities for CTE students.

We will then analyze implementation and outcomes and explore pivotal considerations for continuous improvement.
