The Los Angeles Regional Consortium (LARC) is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure equal access to our workforce and educational resources.

Standards and Compliance

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

The LARC website (https://losangelesrc.org/) meets WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance standards and aligns with applicable requirements of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. We have conducted testing to confirm that our website’s interface, navigation, and core web pages meet these guidelines to ensure an inclusive and accessible experience for all users.
