May 23 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
FreeIn this session, convening partner WestEd will lead an interactive, generative discussion about the barriers students face in accessing and succeeding in work-based learning (WBL) programs. By the end of the meeting, K16 Community of Practice will:
– Develop a shared understanding of the purpose and common practices of WBL
– Have an opportunity to share/provide ideas about the needs for implementing WBL activities
– Track a path to develop a WBL data collection tool, including which groups should be engaged
Who Should Attend?
Ideal for practitioners across K-12 schools and districts; community colleges, and four-year institutions engaged in work-based learning programs, policies, or practices as well as community and employer partners engaged in WBL with institutions.
