Pathways Improvement Scope

This project seeks to offer program participants specialized instruction and establish a partnership with Los Angeles Trade Technical College (LATTC). This collaboration will offer introductory counseling courses and a Small Business Entrepreneurship certificate program, along with flexible options for pursuing alternative degree and certificate pathways. Five Keys’ Self-Starters’ Business Academy will provide new pathways for students who are passionate about business, small enterprises, and entrepreneurship. Five Keys will expand its current CTE program through the addition of a new pathway: Sales and Marketing, with Business and Entrepreneurship as the chosen sector.

Goals & Priorities

Five Keys’ Self-Starters’ Business Academy will provide new pathways for students who are passionate about business, small enterprises, and entrepreneurship. This plan will provide a clear map to students to be efficiently in the curriculum and support students in completing an introductory counseling course at LATTC. Students will receive dedicated support and counseling to enter certificate programs and expand access to college education.
