Pathways Improvement Scope

Pathways for All proposes to make CTE pathway completion a requirement for ALL students in the District. BUSD’s 10 CTE pathways spanning 9 industry sectors|Objectives of this project are focused on expanding access for underserved student populations so that they not only have the opportunity, but also the guarantee of completion in one of BUSD’s 10 CTE pathways.

Goals & Priorities

BUSD plans to increase the number of student pathway completers in the following ways: hire and train additional CTE teachers with the appropriate CTE credentials and relevant industry experience|enhance and update existing CTE equipment|change the master schedule to modify the school day to 8 periods so more students can take CTE courses and complete the pathway course sequence|purchase textbooks and computers.
