Pathways Improvement Scope
Strengthen vertical alignment from middle school career exploration through high school CTE and into community college programs across SGVROP and partner districts. The project aligns curriculum, expands articulation and dual enrollment, strengthens industry certifications, and creates clearer K–14 program maps connecting students to certificates, degrees, apprenticeships, and employment.
Goals & Priorities
Increase CTE enrollment and pathway completion, expand early college credit and industry-recognized credentials, and provide structured WBL including internships, clinicals, job shadowing, and pre-apprenticeship. Priorities also include equitable middle school career exploration, stronger postsecondary transitions, CTSO participation, and reducing access and persistence gaps for disproportionately impacted students.
