Pathways Improvement Scope
San Gabriel Valley will partner with LEA’s to increase pathway offerings that align with postsecondary articulations. Expand career exploration courses by having the various sports physical therapy CTE teachers in workshops speaking about their specific sector and pathway career opportunities.
Goals & Priorities
Enhance Health Industy partnerships to increase work-based learning opportunities for students to include worksite internships, job shadowing, and career exploration in the Sports Physical Therapy Pathways. Funds will be used to support industry-related professional developments, WBL curriculum planning, and implementations tied back to advisor feedback and recommendations as well as articulation/dual enrollment guidelines. It will also support transportation, work-based learning development, and coordination and tracking of data outcomes. funds will be used to ensure that updated industry-standard equipment is being utilized in the classroom setting.
